We don’t rely on cardboard boxes draped with tablecloths to create height on a buffet table– whenever possible, we use “risers” that are beautiful in their own right as part of the display. We avoid the ubiquitous shiny roll-top chafers, and favor the sleeker, more modern “chaferless” look. Rather than pull out the same silver butler trays that our competitors use to pass hors d’oeuvres, we scout antique and specialty stores for interesting platters, frames and mirrors that show off our starters in unconventional ways. Our plated salads, entrees and desserts are extraordinary, with great attention paid to food placement and visual appeal.
